I’m the chair of the Graphic Design Department at Vancouver Island University, and it’s suprisingly not as much of a pain in the ass as it was when I began.
The summer term is my non-teaching term—professors aren’t actually off all that much—so I’m trying to update my courses, figure out what Adobe has managed to screw up change in this year's release and generally try to breathe before the mad downhill rush of the fall term begins.
I’m trying to write a novel. Still trying.
I’d like to find time to walk more. Still trying.
